What is Media NB?
Media NB, a recently established association representing the TV and film industry of New Brunswick, is dedicated to building a robust and competitive provincial media sector. The association’s primary goal is to advocate for incentives, and remove budgetary caps, all to ensure stability, reliability, and growth within the province.
I heard of Media NB in the past, is this the same thing?
You might recognize this association as there was an earlier try to create Media NB. Yet, inadequate funding slowed it down. Fortunately, through a substantial government grant, we're thrilled to announce robust support, enabling us to start the association with a solid foundation.
Who can join the Media NB association?
Membership is open to individuals and entities involved or interested in the TV and film industry in New Brunswick. This includes, but is not limited to producers, filmmakers, directors, writers, actors, industry professionals, and enthusiasts passionate in advancing our provincial media sector.
How can I become a member?
You will then gain access to the benefits and resources offered by the association. Members also get access to their very own member portal where they will get the chance to connect with industry peers, get full access to the association directory, and information on upcoming events.
How can I get involved within the association?
Since we are still in the initial stages of building this association, we are still working on putting together a board, volunteers, and committees. To get involved, please send an email to info@medianb.ca; we will be happy to connect with you for volunteering opportunities within the association.

Does the association have its bylaws drafted?
The bylaws were drafted as a first step when the association was revived. There will be opportunities for amendments and modifications during our annual general meeting.
