Stephen Foster
Steve Foster (he/him) is an accomplished executive producer and businessperson with over 20 years of experience, leading a variety of productions for some of Atlantic Canada's most influential brands and advertising agencies, in addition to global entertainment networks. Steve began his career in production in the sound and camera departments. He then moved into directing and assistant-directing, eventually falling in love with producing. Steve is well-versed in developing creative talent during conceptualization, production, and distribution. Outside of his enthusiasm for all things advertising and long-form content, Steve enjoys mentoring and volunteering. When he’s not working, Stevecan be found cooking and gardening with his wife, Lindsay, and their two sons, Francis and Gabriel.

Marcel Gallant
Marcel Gallant is a seasoned Creative Producer and show runner, celebrated for his award winning work across various genres. With extensive experience in all aspects of production, Marcel has led successful projects from hit drama series to impactful documentaries. As a visionary in his field, Marcel's creative prowess continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Victoria Pike
Victoria Pike is the Director of Business Affairs at Blue Ant Media, a Canadian powerhouse for production, broadcast, and distribution of television & digital content. At Blue Ant, she helps oversee production tax credit applications, funding and financing, and is well versed in government media policy. A proud New Brunswicker, she is ecstatic to be back in her home province. Selected production credits include Netflix’s Blown Away, CBC’s Race Against the Tide, Amazon/Hulu’s Davey & Jonesie’s Locker, and Amazon’s Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make Believe, which won the People’s Choice Award - Documentary at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Gilles Doiron
Gilles Doiron is a seasoned producer and director of photography with over a decade of experience in Canadian television and film. A Toronto Film School graduate and ASC Masterclass alum, Gilles has excelled in documentary, drama, and commercial productions. His work has earned numerous accolades, including the MIPCOM Diversity TV Award, a Gémeaux nomination for Best Documentary Directing, and festival honors such as Best Cinematography (LAIFFA) and Meilleure OEuvre Acadienne (FICFA). Additionally, his projects have been showcased at prestigious events like Telefilm Canada's Not Short on Talent at Cannes. Blending technical expertise with a deep passion for his craft, Gilles continues to leave a meaningful mark on the industry.

Sandy Hunter
Sandy Hunter (he/ him) is a film & television producer and executive with 25 years experience at the heart of the Canadian industry. Hunter attended Ottawa’s Carleton University School of Journalism before beginning his career as a film writer based in Toronto. Sandy then moved into to producing and content positions with Alliance Atlantis, Res Media Group, was the co-founder of Toronto production company Soft Citizen and in 2009 produced the critically-acclaimed documentary Petropolis: Aerial Perspectives on the Alberta Tar Sands. He then joined Apple, and rose to head of Apple TV Canada during his twelve year tenure. Since moving back to his home province of NB in 2021 and launching Cazador Inc., he has produced Drop the Needle (Prime Video), Wabanaki Modern (CBC), O’Don’s (Bell), Car Wash Wars(Bell) and Backyard History (Bell), and developed a slate of TV projects via the Bell Slate Development Fund and the CMF. Sandy is currently in wrapping post-production on What We Dreamed of Then (Crave), the third feature from Halifax-based filmmaker Taylor Olson.

Xavier Leger
Xavier Léger is the General Manager of Productions du milieu. Managing the company since 2021, he is also involved in the development of both scripted and unscripted projects for TV and film. In production, he continues to take on various roles, including production manager, production supervisor and associate producer, as he continues to hone his skills in the industry. A native of Moncton, Xavier has been involved with cultural organizations and projects since 2009. Throughout the years he has worked with various organizations, helping to create and manage medium and large-scale events, including the HubCap Comedy Festival, the FIFA Women's World Cup (2015 - Moncton LOC), and the Jeux de la francophonie Canadienne, to name a few. He is passionate about collaborating to create and develop opportunities for various cultural and creative industries, especially in his community. In 2023, he received the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce's Top 20 under 40 award, which recognizes the talent and accomplishments of young leaders in the community. When he’s not buried in Excel sheets, he can be found hiking with his dog, in the kitchen, on the golf course or exploring a new corner of the world.

Vanessa King
Vanessa is a producer, screenwriter, story editor and industry professor who has worked directly behind the scenes with entertainment talent (including Oscar Winning actors) for two decades. Vanessa’s award-winning screenplays have received recognition from industry bodies including AMPAS/Oscar®’s Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship and Sony Worldwide Entertainment’s Emerging Filmmakers Program. She cofounded the free and educational-based New York Screenwriters Co-Op (10,000 members strong at it’s peak) and was faculty at Gotham Writers Workshop (NYC) and Staffordshire University (UK) where she taught postgraduate-level screenwriting. For four consecutive years, Vanessa was named to Vanity Fair’s “Downtown 100 ” List, recognizing New York City’s top producers & networkers in the entertainment industry. She is a four-time appointee and board member of The Diversity List and in 2019 was named an “Industry Thought Leader” by Forbes Magazine. She has both coordinated and judged dozens of film festivals, consults for Harlem Film House’s advisory board and is a final round judge for the UCLA Masters Screenwriting Showcase. She is passionate about making no and low cost film education accessible to all. She grew up in New Brunswick and after 22 years in New York City, she now finds herself “home from away”, for good. She currently lives in Saint John.

François Pierre Breau
François Pierre Breau is a filmmaker from the Acadian Peninsula and the owner of Productions Les Frères Breau. It was at the age of 20 that his experiences on various Quebecois and American productions in Montreal, as an extra, confirmed his passion for cinema, subsequently leading him to pursue studies in Television and Cinematic Productions at the Institut Grasset. He collaborates at different levels (director, director of photography, cameraman, editor, screenwriter, etc.) with external producers, but for the past few years, he has also been acting as a producer. Since 2009, he has been working with his brother Domenic Bro on multiple projects for television and the web (documentaries, TV series, commercials, music videos, video clips, short films, etc.). They are notably the directors of the 'Artistes Acadiens à Montréal' series, the documentary 'Un DocHumour Acadien', broadcast on the TV5 channel, and the variety series 'Tuné In', which aired on Unis TV. Since 2023, François Pierre Breau has been the representative for Media Arts on the Council of Artistic Disciplines of the AAAPNB.

Phil Comeau
Phil Comeau, director, scriptwriter and sometime producer, has directed 113 films and TV shows in both documentary and fiction, winning over 700 awards at festivals in 86 countries. Known for his ability to reveal the soul of his characters, his acclaimed auteur documentaries include The Secret Order, Zachary Richard Cajun Heart (showcased at the United Nations), Roots Diaspora & War (121 awards), and Belle-Ile in Acadie (Guinness World Record for most awards won by a documentary). Comeau’s drama films include features Jerome’s Secret (showcased at UNESCO), The Crash of the Century and Teen Night. His drama series include directed popular TV series like Tribu. com (1.3 million viewers), La Sagouine, Pit Pony and Emily of New Moon. He has also directed popular documentary series in more than 20 countries including Mayday, Archeology, The New Detectives, Risk Takers, broadcast on 75+ networks. A dedicated advocate for cinema and documentary, he has served on numerous professional board of directors and as president of the Front des réalisateurs indépendants du Canada. Honored with membership in the Order of Canada, the Order of New Brunswick, and France’s Order of Arts and Letters, Comeau became the first New Brunswick filmmaker to receive the Lieutenant-Governor’s Award for High Achievement in the Arts in 2024.
